KATHLEEN R. URBOM, Urbom Law Offices Chartered in Topeka, and OF COUNSEL to Swinnen & Associates, LLC. Her primary practice is in probate, including estate, wills and trusts, as well as contracts, real property, and corporate law. Ms. Urbom has represented many companies in the areas of corporate formation and governance, commercial real estate transactions, real property and equipment leasing, and contract drafting and review, including construction.
She undertakes civil litigation for clients with a variety of business needs, including bank and other company directors. Ms. Urbom also has extensive experience in special education and school law, and serves on several not for profit boards. She is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Topeka Bar Association, the Kansas Women’s Attorney Association, and the Women’s Attorney Association of Topeka. Ms. Urbom earned a dual B.A. at St. Mary of the Plains College and her J.D. at Washburn University Law School.
